1.2 UFT 12.02 Installation: (from QTP 11.5 on wards call it as Unified Functional Testing)
Server System Configuration: Windows Server 2012 / Win Ser 2008 R2 sp1
Client System Configuration: Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / Windows Vistha or above
1. UFT Setup <click>
2. Select the below check boxes:
I Accept <select this check box>
Create Desktop icon <select this check box>
3. Select the Required Add-Ins to test that add-in type application :
.Net Add-in
.Oracle Add-in
.SAP
.Stingrey
.Java
Note: under above sub add-ins also select (right mark), bydefault .Net, .Java, .wpf Add-ins given
4. Select the below check boxes for UFT Settings @ installation:
1. Configure IE Settings <select this check box>
2. Configure DCOM Settings for ALM <select this check box>
3. Configure DCOM Settings for Automation Script
4. Download and Install MS Script Debugger <select this check box>
Note: by default above 3 optioned already selected the check boxes accept 3 if u want select this otherwise, better to click Next
-After this if already install the UFT 11.5 that version files removed old files with components and copy new files and add the requred components ( 454 / 387 ) with that and install the present version.
-At this time remove the old uft desktop icon and after install the new uft icon on the desktop if u select the create desktop icon option while install
5. Select the below check boxes for complete the uft installation:
Open Readme file <select this check box if required>
Open Installaton Log <select this check box if required>
Manually restart later
